Reprise

 

Life moves so quickly.

You move so quickly.

We wake, we eat, we go. You play, I work, we call. You nap, I drink another cup of coffee and look out my window at the sky. 

We come together. We eat, we play, we clean up, we bathe. We go to sleep, head to head, knee to knee. 

Morning comes and we repeat. "The sun is up! It's time to wake up! Ready, Mommy? Ready to get up?"

And,

"I just want you all day, Mommy."

I want it too, baby. I want it, too.
