Look how big he isn't

So here is our baby's second photo. Isn't it amazing how much he or she has grown in two weeks???? I measured exactly 8 weeks on Wednesday, so that puts the due date at August 25.

In the new picture the NP said the baby is upside down, with the head facing to your right. You can see the little spine area and the little arm buds pointing to the right. I saw the heartbeat again, too! We have another ultrasound in four weeks.


I'm off to Michigan tomorrow to visit my sisters. I can't wait to see them. It's been WAY too long. But I'm also nervous to leave Nate and home and the comfort of being near him. These days are full of wonder and excitement, but also worry. I know everything will be okay, though.
