Eden is growing by leaps and bounds. Today her third top tooth came through. She's almost walking on her own. She's starting to "help" us around the house (she'll lint roll the rocking chair with me and help me fold laundry, isn't that sweet?) and help take care of herself (wipes her feet with a wipey while I'm washing her hands and face after dinner, and brushes her hair, too).
I caught a glimpse of us in the mirror after her bath tonight and she is so long. I couldn't believe that the Almost-Toddler I was holding in my arms was a tiny helpless baby only a few months ago.
Tomorrow our little girl will be 11 months old. I bet she'll be walking by her birthday. It's so interesting and so much fun to watch her discover and master things. I love being part of her "process." On the days that I'm home with her she will come back to me in the middle of playtime for a quickie nursing, as if to say, "whoo-whee, this is scary and exciting stuff! I need to take a break with you for a minute, Mom. Okay, that's great. Thanks! I'm off to play again."
She's becoming quite the expert with a ball, too. She can kick, throw, and (sometimes) catch.
Between work and teaching and gigging I'm exhausted. I think I'll throw in the towel early tonight (e.g. before 11:30!) and go in and snuggle with my baby before she goes and gets her license and runs off to college. ;)

Isn't it amazing though how fast they grow! Joshua is learning too talk and that is amazing to me! It's also so incredible how much they can absorb at such a young age all they need are good teachers :) They can learn to do anything :D I love you guys and miss you every moment of every day!
